From the very beginning, we have cooperated with certified partner companies in Europe for our collections, who produce in an environmentally friendly and fair manner and support us with their know-how in development.
85% of our collections are created in Italy, Portugal, and Greece. We have worked closely with most of these manufacturers for decades and regularly visit them on-site. Many of them are family-run.
At Rich & Royal, "Made in Europe" stands for social justice and unique quality, but also for shorter delivery routes. Thanks to the proximity of our partner companies, our products are largely transported to Germany by road. This saves us CO2 emissions and reduces our ecological footprint. Together with companies like Candiani, Deveaux, and Riopele, we set benchmarks in sustainability.

CANDIANI
A strong enthusiasm for denim is just one of the characteristics
We share these qualities with the traditional weaving mill Candiani, based near Milan. This company has been with us since 2006. With decades of expertise, they supply us with their fabrics, which are used to make 90% of our denim collections. This is about more than just exceptionally beautiful denim. Their environmentally friendly manufacturing process significantly reduces water consumption and almost completely eliminates the use of chemicals. All fabrics are biodegradable. This is why Candiani is considered one of the most sustainable denim weaving mills in the world.
OUR FABRIC SUPPLIERS
DEVEAUX
We've been working with Deveaux for about five years. In the French municipality of Saint-Vincent-de-Reins and the immediate surrounding area, special fabrics have been woven, dyed, and printed for over 200 years. This is where our popular Rich & Royal prints originate. They are used for our blouses and dresses, among other things. To guarantee the best quality and maximum comfort, at Deveaux we primarily use FSC-certified viscose and organic cotton that meets the Organic Cotton Standard.

RIOPELE
Our specialists for high-quality, eco-friendly yarns, which we use for our blazers and trousers, are Riopele. Founded in 1927, the company is one of Portugal's oldest textile companies. In its fabric production, Riopele places the utmost importance on meeting all environmental standards and ensuring a safe workplace for its employees. Throughout the entire production process, the fabrics are carefully monitored for quality—to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
OUR PRODUCTION FACILITIES
In addition to selecting sustainable materials, we have high standards for social and environmental
standards in our partner production facilities. Essential to us: fair working conditions and processes that leave the cleanest possible footprint.
We maintain a particularly trusting relationship with our producers Bless International and Baptista Soares in Portugal. Rich & Royal collection pieces are produced here using a GOTS-certified process.
When you hold a jersey garment, dress, blouse or organic basic from us in your hands, they come from Mercury in Greece or from our producers in Portugal, who have been supporting us with their passion and know-how for 30 years.
